Friday Night

Wow! We seem to have said that a lot in the last couple of days, God is really doing something here. It was a great evening.

We met some of the technical guys this evening who run the huge sound systems, and we managed to get a cuppa tea from them! A great bonus, even though the thermometer was reading 35degrees celsius outside at 6pm! There is a very hard working team keeping everything going in some very tough conditions, and they are very passionate about the part they play in this work.

While Daniel Kolenda preached we went out into the middle of the crowd, to see what it looked like from there. It is a great experience, standing next to people who are hanging onto every word that is being preached. It was a definite highlight.

At the end of the evening Reinhard Bonnke prayed for the sick. We were fortunate to be standing in front of where people came to give their testimonies, and we were able to watch the faces of people whose lives have been impacted by the Living God.

We must head to bed now, we leave at 530 am again tomorrow!
