Independence Square

Nothing can quite prepare you for the sights, smells and sounds of Africa. We got in last night and have now spent the morning exploring Accra, venturing out to find the crusade ground. After a long walk, with the hot African sun beating down on us we finally found the venue. Situated only a stones through away from the beautiful beach. Independence square, a mass open space surrounded by some stadium seating was very awe inspiring and one could only imagine what it is going to look like teaming full of people ready to hear the Gospel. It was a privilege to witness first hand the CfaN team in action and all the hard work that must be a logistical headache, going so smoothly. Having now stood in the actual ground which is simply colossal, myself and Jonathan are so inspired as to what we are about to witness. We were both struck by the sheer enormity of it all, especially the speakers which will carry the sound for miles!! This truly is going to be epic.
