Arrived safely in Accra Ghana last night. Early on in the flight, our plane was struck by lighting. There was a cracking sound and a bright light, flashed outside the right side of the plane. The pilot then advised the passengers calmly, that this happens from time to time, and planes were designed to deflect lightning strikes.
Although we felt totally safe, it was a humbling experience. 1000’s of feet up, but secure in the hands of our Father. This experience sums up trusting The Lord with everything. He rebukes the storms, when we are struggling, vulnerable and facing trials. These are guaranteed as believers of Christ. Although we can have total assuredness and peace in our hearts. After all do we fear death? When we love the one who defeated it.
Will be travelling to Kumasi this morning. Please keep the whole CfaN team in your prayers. May God do a mighty work amongst the people of Ghana.
