Tonight was absolutely insane! This was the first night of the crusade and as we arrived Independence square was buzzing and most probably a quarter full. There was a real sense of anticipation and it was a joy to join in the African worship. We had been told to expect a smaller crowd for the first night, but it did not take long before the square was completely packed full of people. I don’t think I have ever in my life seen so many people in one single place, let alone worshiping Jesus. There were literally hundreds of thousands of people. Daniel Kolenda preached from Romans 10:13 a message of hope and salvation, that all who call on the Name of The Lord shall be saved. As I looked out over the crowd in wonder at how Jesus would impact each individual person, all I could see with my human eyes was simply a sea of faces. How wonderful and amazing our God is, who knows each one of us by name!! Salvations were plentiful as people responded to the Gospel message. There were then many healings, as people testified as to the ways in which sickness and infirmity had fled from their bodies. It was incredible and awe inspiring on a scale I have never seen before. It was truly life changing to see Jesus getting what He paid for!!!!!!!!
